What artwork files do you accept for vehicle door stickers?
Vehicle door stickers require vector files only (AI, EPS, SVG). We need vector files to select the outlines of all elements and tell the cutting machine exactly where to cut.

What is vector artwork?
Vector files are created using paths rather than pixels, which means they can be scaled to any size without losing quality. This gives you sharper cuts and cleaner edges compared to raster images like JPG or PNG.

What if I don't have a vector file?
You have a few options: use our "Convert My File To Vector" service to convert your existing artwork.

Can I use Canva to create my design?
Yes — download your file as an SVG with a transparent background. Note: Canva may export some images or certain elements as JPG rather than vector. We'll notify you if this affects your file quality and discuss options before production.

What types of designs work best for 1-2 colour vehicle door stickers?
Pre-coloured vinyl works best for solid colour designs such as text, lettering, logos, and simple graphics. Your design should work well in one or two colours without gradients, shading, or photographic elements. Think clean, bold business names and contact details where the shape and outline are the key features.

Can I have my design in two colours?
Yes — you can use up to 2 vinyl colours per sticker. For example, your business name in one colour and your contact details or tagline in another.

What vinyl colours are available?
We offer a wide range of solid vinyl colours. Photos of available colours are shown further down on the product page.

Can you fix or set up my artwork?
For print-ready vector files (AI, EPS, SVG), we'll add cut lines at no cost. For files needing resizing or setup work, we offer a "Make My File Print Ready" service. For design modifications, see our "Convert My File To Vector" product or contact us for a custom quote.

Do I need to supply cut lines?
No. We'll create the cut lines from your vector artwork at no charge.

What does "I Have Print-Ready Artwork" mean?
This option is for files that are ready to go straight to production with no changes needed. Your file is considered print-ready if the artwork is supplied at final size and all text is converted to outlines. Bleed and crop marks are not required — we'll add cut lines to your vector files at no cost. If no proof is requested, print-ready files will proceed straight to production.

What does "I Need a File Created" include?
If you don't have artwork, we offer a free design service for simple text layout creation. This includes basic layout using your selected font and colours.

Will I see a proof before production?
When placing your order, you'll select whether you have print-ready files or need a new file created. Based on your selection, you'll see how many design proofs are included. For print-ready artwork with a proof requested, we'll add cut lines but won't make adjustments to your design. If your file isn't set up correctly, we'll notify you so you can make the necessary changes.

What is a proof?
A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your vehicle door sticker will look. It shows the final design, sizing, cut lines, and vinyl colour, allowing you to review and approve everything before production begins.

When will I receive my proof?
Your proof will be emailed within 24–48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. If you haven't received it within this timeframe, contact us directly. No work will move into production until the proof is approved via return email.

What material are vehicle door stickers made from?
Vehicle door stickers are made from high-quality outdoor vinyl in solid colours. This vinyl is waterproof, UV stable, and highly durable — the longest-lasting option we offer as there's no ink involved that can fade over time.

Are vehicle door stickers waterproof?
Yes — pre-coloured vinyl is fully waterproof and offers the highest water resistance of all our products. It's UV stable and designed to withstand daily driving, rain, sun, and regular washing.

Will the colours fade over time?
All vinyl will fade over time with prolonged exposure to UV and the elements — however pre-coloured vinyl offers the best fade resistance of all our sticker products. Because the colour runs through the vinyl itself rather than being printed on top, it takes significantly longer to show signs of fading compared to digitally printed alternatives. For most vehicles, you can expect excellent colour retention well beyond the life of a printed sticker.

How long do they last?
Standard outdoor vinyl lasts up to 5–7 years, while printed and laminated vinyl lasts up to 5 years outdoors. Actual lifespan can vary depending on UV exposure, vehicle surface colour (dark surfaces absorb more heat), and conditions.

What surfaces can vehicle door stickers adhere to?
Vehicle door stickers adhere well to most smooth, clean surfaces including painted metal, fibreglass, and glass. They do not stick well to rough or textured surfaces, oxidised or chalky paint, or silicone-treated areas. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from wax, polish, or road grime before application.

Are vehicle door stickers suitable for all surfaces?
These stickers are not suitable for ribbed surfaces, textured trims, or any surface that curves in two directions simultaneously (such as a compound curve). This is a cut vinyl, not a wrapping vinyl, and will not conform to complex surface profiles. If you're unsure whether your surface is suitable, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to advise.

Will vehicle door stickers adhere to ceramic coated or Raptor coated surfaces?
Unfortunately no — these stickers are not suitable for either ceramic coated or Raptor coated surfaces. Ceramic coating creates a slick, hydrophobic surface that vinyl adhesive cannot bond to reliably, while Raptor coat's textured finish prevents the sticker from making full contact. If your vehicle has either of these coatings applied, we'd recommend against ordering as the stickers will not adhere correctly.

Are vehicle door stickers removable?
Vehicle door stickers feature permanent adhesive designed for long-lasting application. While they can be removed, the vinyl will not be reusable.

It's worth noting that over time, UV exposure can cause the paint around your stickers to fade, while the area beneath the sticker remains protected. This can result in a "shadowing" effect — where the outline of the sticker becomes visible once removed. To minimise this, we recommend removing stickers after 3 years, polishing the surrounding surface, and re-applying fresh stickers. This helps maintain an even finish and keeps your vehicle looking its best.

How do I apply vehicle door stickers?
Your sticker arrives with transfer paper (application tape) applied over the design, holding all letters and elements in position. Clean and dry your surface thoroughly, position the sticker with the transfer paper still attached, apply pressure to adhere it, then carefully peel away the transfer paper to reveal your design. Detailed application instructions are included with your order.

What's the difference between 1-2 colour and full colour vehicle door stickers?
1-2 colour stickers are cut from pre-coloured vinyl and are ideal for simple designs in one or two solid colours — they offer the best fade resistance and longest lifespan. Full colour stickers are digitally printed, which means you can include unlimited colours, gradients, logos, and detailed artwork. How long does it take to produce vehicle door stickers?
Standard production time is 48 hours from order confirmation and artwork approval.

When will my order be shipped?
We ship every Tuesday and Thursday when our local postie collects from us. Your order will be dispatched on the next available collection day after production is complete.

Do you offer express shipping?
