What artwork files do you accept?
PDF files only are accepted for ACM signs. All other file formats will not be accepted.

What are the print-ready file requirements?
Please follow these requirements when setting up your artwork:
• PDF format only — no other file types accepted
• Correctly sized to your chosen finished dimensions
• 5mm bleed on all sides
• Printer trim marks must be included in the PDF
• All fonts must be converted to outlines
• All transparency effects flattened and all images embedded
• Files are printed in CMYK only — as per industry standard, colours may vary up to 5%

Can you fix or set up my artwork?
We offer a "Make My File Print Ready" service that includes resizing, adding bleed, and preparing your file for production — with no changes to your actual artwork. If your design needs modifications or corrections, please contact us for a custom quote.

Will I see a proof before printing?
When placing your order, you'll select whether you have print-ready files, need file setup assistance, or need a new file created. Based on your selection, you'll see how many design proofs are included. If you have print-ready artwork and request a proof, we'll send you a digital proof for approval. We won't make adjustments to your artwork unless you've selected one of our file setup options. If your file isn't set up correctly, we'll notify you before proceeding.

What is a proof?
A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your ACM sign will look when printed. It shows the final design, colours, and sizing, allowing you to review and approve everything before production begins.

When will I receive my proof?
Your proof will be emailed within 24–48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. If you haven't received it within this timeframe, contact us directly. No work will move into production until the proof is approved via return email.

What if my logo or image isn't high enough quality?
We'll assess your file and let you know if the quality is suitable for printing. If your artwork is too low resolution, we'll advise you and may be able to help recreate or source a better quality version for a small fee.

What is an ACM panel?
ACM stands for Aluminium Composite Material. Each panel is a three-layer sandwich consisting of two pre-painted aluminium sheets bonded to a polyethylene (PE) core. This construction makes ACM panels rigid and durable while remaining significantly lighter than solid aluminium or steel — making them easy to handle and install.

How is the design applied to the panel?
Your design is printed in full colour and finished with a clear UV over-laminate, producing a smooth, professional finish that is waterproof, UV stable, and resistant to cleaning chemicals and handling.

How durable is the print?
The clear UV over-laminate provides protection against UV exposure, moisture, and cleaning chemicals, making these signs suitable for long-term outdoor installation in Australian conditions.

What sizes are available?
ACM signs are available in fully custom dimensions — simply specify the width and height you need. The maximum size available for delivery is 900 x 900mm. For signs larger than this, please contact us directly for a custom quote.

Is the sign printed on one side or both sides?
ACM signs are printed on one side only.

How do I install an ACM sign?
ACM panels can be installed using adhesive or by drilling directly through the panel. For a polished, professional floating finish, standoff panel mounts are available to order separately — these create a small gap between the sign and the wall for a premium installed appearance.

What are standoff panel mounts?
Standoff panel mounts are fixings that hold your ACM sign slightly away from the wall surface, creating a clean floating effect that elevates the finished look of your signage. They are available to order separately from the product page.

Are ACM signs suitable for building exteriors?
Please note: There have been recent changes to the National Construction Code regarding the installation of flammable materials on the walls of buildings. Stickerman Australia Pty Ltd cannot provide advice on the suitability of our signage where building regulations need to be met. We encourage you to seek independent legal advice before installing any materials on a wall or building.

What are ACM signs best used for?
ACM signs are ideal for outdoor building signs, directional and wayfinding signage, real estate and commercial premises signage, trailers, trucks, and any application requiring a long-term professional outdoor display.

How long does it take to produce ACM signs?
ACM signs are produced within 5–7 business days from artwork upload or approval.

What shipping method is used?
Shipping method depends on the size of your order. Smaller signs are sent via Australia Post. Larger signs are dispatched via local couriers. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.

If I order multiple different products will my entire order arrive together?
If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
