Design

Re-order of existing design - No changes: Your last ordered business card design will move immediately into production, if we have any questions or confusion regarding the correct file for print we will contact you prior to production. No Design proof included

Re-order of existing design - With changes: Changes to existing card designs include text changes and  image re-placement only. For a full re-design a 'new business card design' must be ordered. x1 Design proof included

Print Ready Files: Please see print ready file specs in next tab. If files are supplied not print ready additional charges may apply. No Design proof

New Design Required: You will receive your custom design within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) the design will include one layout option based on the information and logo you have provided. x2 Design proofs 

Add Specialty Finish to Existing Design: Adding the additional Spot-UV artwork layer to existing files. For existing or provided vector files only, non vector files will need to be custom quoted. x1 Design proof.

We love information! The more information you can provide in the beginning the easier it is for your designer to make you smile :) Whether it's detailed instructions on placement of images and text or a simple hand drawn sketch of what you were envisioning the more information we receive the happier we are. 

Tips for creative flow

- Have you provided all the information (text) that is to be used?

- Have you mentioned any social media icons to be included?

- Have you made sure all your images/logos are high quality? 

- Have you told us the colours you would like used or the style of text. eg, script, bold, casual, fun?

Print Ready Files

• Artwork is to be provided as a three page press ready PDF with the front of the card on page 1, the back of the card on page 2 & the spot UV layer on page 3
• Artboards must be correctly sized with a minimum of 2mm external bleed
• Recommended safe zone for print is 3mm in from all sides
• Artwork must be submitted with printer trim marks
• All colours must be CMYK only. 
• Recommended resolution for images is a minimum of 300dpi
• All artwork must be flattened with all images embedded and all fonts converted to outline
• Rich black breakdown: C-40, M-40, Y-40, K-100. Text is fine with K-100 only

SPOT UV LAYER

• Must be a spot colour
• Must be a separate layer named SPOTUV
• Set to overprint fill

PREPARING FILES FOR SPOT UV

 *Please note that all lines/strokes that are to be highlighted in Spot UV, must be at least 0.25mm thick, or the Spot UV may not appear as clear or sharp. Spot UV can shift slightly when applied, avoid applying it to thin lines, small text or finely detailed artwork.  

* Please bear in mind that adding a matte cello glaze will dark in the colours by approximately 5%

* As per industry standard colours may vary up to 5%

* For the best colour accuracy please refer to a Pantone colour guide and not your screen
