What artwork files do you accept?
PDF is the preferred file type. AI, EPS, JPG, PNG, and SVG files are also accepted. All files must meet the following requirements:
• Correctly sized to your ordered dimensions
• 2mm bleed on all sides
• All fonts converted to outlines
• All transparency effects flattened and all images embedded
• Supplied in CMYK only — as per industry standard, colours may vary up to 5%
• Minimum recommended image resolution of 300 DPI

Can you fix or set up my artwork?
We offer a "Make My File Print Ready" service that includes resizing, adding bleed, and preparing your file for production — with no changes to your actual artwork. If your design needs modifications or corrections, please contact us for a custom quote.

Can you create artwork for me from scratch?
Yes — our artwork creation service includes one design based on the information you provide, one round of revisions, and a digital proof for approval. Revisions must be communicated in a single interaction. Additional proofs or further changes beyond the included round of revisions will incur additional charges.

Will I see a proof before printing?
Yes — a digital proof will be emailed within 48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. No order will proceed to production until the proof is confirmed via return email.

What is a proof?
A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your labels will look when printed, showing the final design, colours, sizing, and cut shape, so you can review and approve everything before production begins.

How many rounds of revisions are included?
One round of revisions is included with every order. All revisions must be communicated in a single interaction and an additional proof will be sent within 48 hours. Additional charges apply for further changes or proofs beyond this.

What if my logo or image isn't high enough quality?
We'll assess your file and let you know if the quality is suitable for printing. If your artwork is too low resolution, we'll advise you and may be able to help recreate or source a better quality version for a small fee.

What material are these labels made from?
Smooth paper roll labels are made from cast gloss standard white paper — a clean, bright label stock that delivers crisp, vibrant full colour print results. This material is ideal for indoor product labelling where a professional, polished finish is required.

What finish options are available?
Labels are available with a gloss varnish, matte varnish, gloss laminate, or matte laminate finish. Varnish is a lighter coating that enhances appearance, while laminate adds an additional layer for improved surface durability. Both gloss and matte options are available in either finish type.

Are these labels suitable for outdoor use?
No — smooth paper labels are for indoor use only. They are not suitable for outdoor use, wet environments, or applications requiring tear resistance. What temperature range can these labels handle?
These labels are rated for a service temperature of 0°C to 40°C and are not suitable for freezer or high-heat applications. For temperature-resistant labelling requirements, please contact us to discuss alternatives.

Do these labels have a shelf life?
Yes — for optimal performance, these labels should be used within one year of the date of manufacture. Storage conditions can affect adhesive performance and print quality over time.

What surfaces do these labels adhere to?
These labels adhere well to most smooth, dry indoor surfaces including paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, and smooth packaging materials. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or oils before application.

Are these labels removable?
These labels feature standard permanent adhesive designed for indoor product labelling. While they can be removed, they are not designed for repositioning once applied.

What sizes and shapes are available?
Labels are laser cut to your specific size and shape requirements. Custom dimensions are available — please contact us if you have a specific size or shape in mind that isn't listed.

How are the labels supplied?
Labels are kiss-cut to shape and supplied in rolls on a 76mm diameter core, making them easy to load into a label dispenser or apply by hand in sequence.

What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order is 500 labels.

How long does it take to produce smooth paper roll labels?

If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
