Brushed Aluminium Composite (ACM) Signs - One Colour

What artwork files do you accept?
Vector files only are accepted for this product — AI, EPS, or PDF with vector paths. Raster files such as JPG or PNG are not suitable for cut vinyl production as they cannot be used to define a precise cut path.

Why does cut vinyl require vector artwork?
Cut vinyl is produced by cutting along the paths defined in your artwork file. Vector files use mathematical paths that can be cut with precision at any size. Raster files are made up of pixels and do not contain the path information needed for accurate cutting.

What are the artwork file requirements?
Please follow these requirements when setting up your artwork:
• Vector file only — AI, EPS, or PDF with vector paths
• Correctly sized to your chosen finished dimensions
• All fonts must be converted to outlines
• All transparency effects flattened
• Artwork must be supplied as a single colour — multi-colour designs are not suitable for this product

How do I choose my vinyl colour?
Vinyl colour is selected from our pre-coloured vinyl range during the ordering process. A colour swatch chart is available on the product page to help you choose the right colour for your design. As with all pre-coloured vinyl, colours may vary slightly from on-screen representations — we recommend ordering a sample if colour accuracy is critical.

Can you fix or set up my artwork?
We offer a "Make My File Print Ready" service that includes resizing, adding bleed, and preparing your file for production — with no changes to your actual artwork. If your design needs modifications or corrections, please contact us for a custom quote.

Will I see a proof before printing?
When placing your order, you'll select whether you have print-ready files, need file setup assistance, or need a new file created. Based on your selection, you'll see how many design proofs are included. If you have print-ready artwork and request a proof, we'll send you a digital proof for approval. We won't make adjustments to your artwork unless you've selected one of our file setup options. If your file isn't set up correctly, we'll notify you before proceeding.

What is a proof?
A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your sign will look when produced. It shows the final design, vinyl colour, and sizing on the brushed aluminium panel, allowing you to review and approve everything before production begins.

When will I receive my proof?
Your proof will be emailed within 24–48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. If you haven't received it within this timeframe, contact us directly. No work will move into production until the proof is approved via return email.

What if my logo or image isn't high enough quality?
We'll assess your file and let you know if the quality is suitable. If your artwork is too low resolution or not suitable for cut vinyl production, we'll advise you before proceeding.

What is this product made from?
The panel is a 3mm brushed aluminium composite (ACM) board — a three-layer sandwich of two pre-painted aluminium sheets bonded to a polyethylene core. The brushed aluminium face gives the panel a premium, architectural appearance. One colour pre-coloured cut vinyl is applied to the face to display your lettering or artwork.

What is the difference between this and the full colour ACM sign?
The full colour ACM sign uses full colour CMYK printing to reproduce photographs, gradients, and complex multi-colour designs. This product uses pre-coloured cut vinyl in a single colour applied to a brushed aluminium panel — it is best suited to logos, text, and simple artwork where a premium, understated material finish is more important than photographic colour reproduction. The brushed aluminium background is visible as part of the finished design.

What sizes are available?
Fully custom dimensions — specify the width and height you need up to a maximum of 900 x 900mm. For larger sizes please contact us directly for a custom quote.

Is this sign suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — the ACM panel is weather-resistant and the pre-coloured vinyl is suitable for long-term outdoor use. All vinyl will fade over time with prolonged UV exposure — however pre-coloured vinyl offers excellent fade resistance for outdoor applications.

How do I install this sign?
ACM panels can be installed using adhesive or by drilling directly through the panel. For a polished floating finish, standoff panel mounts are available to order separately.

Are ACM signs suitable for building exteriors?
Please note: There have been recent changes to the National Construction Code regarding the installation of flammable materials on the walls of buildings. Stickerman Australia Pty Ltd cannot provide advice on the suitability of our signage where building regulations need to be met. We encourage you to seek independent legal advice before installing any materials on a wall or building.

How long does it take to produce this sign?
This sign is produced within 5–7 business days from artwork upload or approval.

What shipping method is used?
Shipping method depends on the size of your order. Smaller signs are sent via Australia Post. Larger signs are dispatched via local couriers. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.

If I order multiple different products will my entire order arrive together?
If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
