Can I upload my own artwork or logo?
Caravan name stickers are a text-only product — customers enter their text and select a font and vinyl colour. If your design includes multiple colours, logos, or detailed artwork, check out our Caravan Name – Full Colour product, or contact us to discuss your options.

Can I get a proof before production?
Yes — you have the option to receive a digital proof before we begin production by selecting it when placing your order. The proof shows the final design, sizing, cut lines, and vinyl colour so you can review and approve everything before we begin. Your proof will be emailed within 24–48 hours of placing your order, and no work will move into production until it's approved via return email.

Do I need a proof?
If you're happy with your font and colour selection and don't need to see a layout preview, you can skip the proof and we'll proceed straight to production. This is the fastest way to get your order on its way.

What type of sticker is this?
Caravan name stickers are supplied as custom cut vinyl lettering (also called transfer vinyl). This means there is no background — just clean, individual letters applied directly to your van for a professional, custom-painted look.

What material are the stickers made from?
Caravan name stickers are cut from premium pre-coloured vinyl rated for 5+ years of outdoor use. Pre-coloured vinyl is the highest rated vinyl for withstanding excessive UV exposure, heat, and harsh outdoor conditions — exactly what a well-travelled caravan faces.

Are caravan name stickers waterproof?
Yes. Our vinyl is fully waterproof and UV stable, designed to withstand sun, rain, and long-term outdoor exposure.

How long will they last?
Standard outdoor vinyl lasts up to 5–7 years. Actual lifespan can vary depending on UV exposure, surface colour (dark surfaces absorb more heat), and storage conditions.

What surfaces can caravan name stickers adhere to?
Caravan name stickers adhere best to smooth, clean surfaces including fibreglass, painted aluminium, acrylic, glass, and metal. They do not stick well to rough or textured surfaces, oxidised or chalky paint, or silicone-treated areas. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from wax, oils, or road grime before application.

Are caravan name stickers suitable for all surfaces?
These stickers are not suitable for ribbed surfaces, or any surface that curves in two directions simultaneously (such as a compound curve). This is a cut vinyl, not a wrapping vinyl, and will not conform to complex surface profiles. If you're unsure whether your surface is suitable, please contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to advise.

Are caravan name stickers removable?
Caravan name stickers feature permanent adhesive designed for long-lasting application. While they can be removed, depending on the surface and how long they've been applied, some adhesive residue may remain and the vinyl will not be reusable.

It's worth noting that over time, UV exposure can cause the paint or surface around your stickers to fade, while the area beneath the sticker remains protected. This can result in a "shadowing" effect — where the outline of the sticker becomes visible once removed. To minimise this, we recommend removing stickers after 3 years, polishing the surrounding surface, and re-applying fresh stickers. This helps maintain an even finish and keeps your caravan looking its best.

How do I apply caravan name stickers?
Your sticker arrives with transfer paper (application tape) applied over the design, holding all letters in position. Clean and dry your surface thoroughly, position the sticker with the transfer paper still attached, apply pressure to adhere it, then carefully peel away the transfer paper to reveal your caravan name. What's the difference between caravan name stickers and full colour caravan stickers?
Caravan name stickers are cut from pre-coloured vinyl and are ideal for single colour text and simple designs. Full colour caravan stickers are digitally printed, which means you can include multiple colours, gradients, logos, and detailed artwork. How long does it take to produce caravan name stickers?
Caravan name stickers are produced within 24 hours on business days (Monday – Friday). If a proof has been requested, production begins once the proof has been approved via return email.

When will my order be shipped?
We ship every Tuesday and Thursday when our local postie collects from us. Your order will be dispatched on the next available collection day after production is complete.

Can you rush my order if it's urgent?

If I order multiple different products will my entire order arrive together?
If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
