FAQs
Design & Artwork
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are best for the sharpest results. High-resolution PNG or JPG files also work well, provided they're clear and at least 300 DPI at the final print size.
What is vector artwork?
Vector files are created using paths rather than pixels, which means they can be scaled to any size without losing quality. This gives you sharper prints and cleaner results compared to raster images like JPG or PNG.
How do I set up artwork for a trifold flyer?
Trifold flyers are printed on a single A4 sheet and folded into three equal DL-sized panels. Your artwork file should be set up as a full A4 page with the three panels clearly defined. It is important to account for the fold lines when placing text and key design elements — avoid placing critical content too close to the fold lines as slight variation in folding can affect readability. If you need help setting up your file correctly, our "Make My File Print Ready" service or a custom design quote can assist.
Can you fix or set up my artwork?
We offer a "Make My File Print Ready" service that includes resizing, adding bleed, and preparing your file for production — with no changes to your actual artwork. If your design needs modifications or corrections, please contact us for a custom quote.
Will I see a proof before printing?
When placing your order, you'll select whether you have print-ready files, need file setup assistance, or need a new file created. Based on your selection, you'll see how many design proofs are included. If you have print-ready artwork and request a proof, we'll send you a digital proof for approval. We won't make adjustments to your artwork unless you've selected one of our file setup options. If your file isn't set up correctly, we'll notify you before proceeding.
What is a proof?
A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your trifold flyer will look when printed and folded. It shows the final design, colours, panel layout, and sizing, allowing you to review and approve everything before production begins.
When will I receive my proof?
Your proof will be emailed within 24–48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. If you haven't received it within this timeframe, contact us directly. No work will move into production until the proof is approved via return email.
What if my logo or image isn't high enough quality?
We'll assess your file and let you know if the quality is suitable for printing. If your artwork is too low resolution, we'll advise you and may be able to help recreate or source a better quality version for a small fee.
Materials & Finishing
DL trifold flyers are printed on a full A4 sheet (210 x 297mm) and folded into three equal panels, each measuring approximately 99 x 210mm when folded — the same compact DL size as a standard DL flyer. When unfolded, the full A4 surface gives you six panels of content across the front and back.
Are trifold flyers printed on both sides?
Yes — all trifold flyers are printed double-sided in full colour, giving you six panels of content across the front and back of the sheet.
What paper stock options are available for trifold flyers?
DL trifold flyers are available in two paper stocks:
150gsm Gloss — a cost-effective option with a bright gloss finish, suitable for high-volume runs and general brochure use.
170gsm Silk/Matte — a heavier stock with a smooth, non-reflective silk or matte finish. The additional weight folds cleanly and gives the brochure a more premium, professional feel.
Why are fewer paper stocks available for trifold compared to flat flyers?
Trifold flyers require paper that folds cleanly and consistently without cracking or wrinkling. Heavier stocks like 250gsm are not suitable for folding as they can crack at the fold lines. The available stocks are selected to ensure a clean, professional fold every time.
What is the difference between gloss and silk/matte paper?
Gloss paper has a shiny, reflective finish that makes colours appear vibrant and vivid. Silk/matte paper has a smooth, non-reflective finish with a more refined, understated appearance that is particularly well suited to text-heavy brochures and premium brand communications.
Production Times & Shipping
Trifold flyers take 7–10 business days from artwork upload or approval.
Can you rush my order if it's urgent?
Yes! Please contact us directly to discuss your timeline and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Who do you use for shipping?
We use local couriers for all flyer deliveries, ensuring reliable and trackable shipping across Australia.
How long will delivery take once my order ships?
Delivery times depend on your location and the courier service used. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.
If I order multiple different products will my entire order arrive together?
If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
