A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your sticker will look when printed. It shows the final design, colors, sizing, and cut lines, allowing you to review and approve everything before production begins. This ensures the finished product matches your expectations. When will I receive my proof? Your proof will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours of placing your order. Please keep an eye on your inbox and check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. What surfaces can these stickers adhere to? Our circle stickers adhere well to most smooth, clean surfaces including glass, metal, plastic, wood, and painted surfaces. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or oils before application. Are these stickers removable? While our stickers feature strong permanent adhesive designed for long-lasting application, they can be removed. However, depending on the surface and how long they've been applied, some adhesive residue may remain. They're not designed for repositioning once applied. Will the colors fade over time? All stickers will fade over time depending on UV exposure. Our stickers are printed with genuine Roland eco-sol inks that are UV stable and fade-resistant. The 2-year vinyl has a life expectancy of approximately 2 years and will fade faster as the ink is not protected by lamination. The laminated 5-year vinyl offers significantly greater color protection due to its UV-overlaminate layer, making it the best choice if long-term color vibrancy is essential for your application. Can these stickers withstand exposure to oils and chemicals? Yes, our stickers are oil-resistant, and the laminated 5-year vinyl provides enhanced protection against cleaning chemicals and essential oils. What artwork files do you accept?
PDF is the preferred file type. AI, EPS, JPG, PNG, and SVG files are also accepted. If you have multiple versions, each must be supplied as a separate PDF file.

What are the artwork requirements?
Please follow these requirements when setting up your artwork:
• Artwork correctly sized to your chosen dimensions
• All fonts converted to outlines
• All transparency effects flattened and all images embedded
• File supplied in CMYK only — as per industry standard, colours may vary up to 5%
• 2mm bleed on all sides
• Printer trim marks included
• Recommended safe zone of 5mm in from all sides for important design elements
• Minimum recommended image resolution is 300 DPI

What happens if my file isn't print ready?
If your uploaded file is not print ready, we'll contact you and give you the opportunity to adjust it. If you're unable to make the changes yourself, we can make the file print ready at an additional cost. Please note that Stickerman cannot be held responsible for work produced from artwork not submitted in line with our artwork terms. By placing an order you confirm that all artwork is provided correctly.

Can you set up my artwork for me?
Yes — our "Make Print Ready" service includes resizing your artwork to the correct dimensions, adding 2mm bleed to all sides, and providing one design proof for approval. This service does not include design changes such as adding text, changing colours, or modifying elements. You must supply the correct file type and approve the proof before production begins.

Can you create artwork for me from scratch?
Yes — our artwork creation service includes one design based on the information you provide, one round of revisions, and a digital proof for approval. Revisions must be communicated in a single interaction. Additional proofs or further changes beyond the included round of revisions will incur additional charges.

Will I see a proof before printing?
Yes — a digital proof will be emailed within 48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. No order will proceed to production until the proof is confirmed via return email.

What is a layout proof?
A layout proof is a digital preview of your sticker sent via email, showing exactly how your design will look when printed. It allows you to review and approve everything before production begins. Should you require changes beyond the included round of revisions, additional fees will apply.

Which vinyl option should I choose?
The 2-year vinyl is ideal for indoor use or short-term outdoor applications. It is heat and freezer resistant, though prolonged UV exposure may impact its lifespan. If applying 2-year vinyl in large sizes, we recommend using water during application.

The 5-year laminated vinyl features an extra UV over-laminate layer providing superior protection against sunlight, cleaning chemicals, and scratches. This option is recommended for long-term outdoor use, areas exposed to cleaning chemicals or essential oils, or stickers that will be handled frequently. Important: do not use water during application with air-release laminated vinyl — the air-release adhesive ensures bubble-free installation without it.

Which side of the window are these applied to?
These stickers are applied to the outside surface of the window.

Are these stickers waterproof?
Yes — both vinyl options are waterproof and UV resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

How do I apply a large sticker without bubbles?
For 2-year vinyl in large sizes, we recommend using water during application to allow repositioning and prevent bubbles. For 5-year laminated vinyl, do not use water — the air-release adhesive is specifically designed to allow bubble-free installation without water application.

Are these stickers removable?
These stickers are designed for outdoor window application and are intended for medium to long-term use. Removal is possible though some adhesive residue may require cleaning after removal.
