What ACM products are available in this range?
This range includes six products. Custom full colour ACM signs are available in any dimensions up to 900 x 900mm, printed in full colour using Roland eco-sol inks with a UV over-laminate finish. One colour cut vinyl brushed ACM signs combine pre-coloured cut vinyl lettering or artwork with a brushed aluminium composite panel for a premium architectural finish. Pre-set No Parking Tow Away Zone signs are available in two designs — Design 1 is a fixed off-the-shelf sign, while Design 2 allows you to upload your own logo for a personalised version. A pre-set No Glass Permitted sign is also available. Standoff panel mounts are available separately in a choice of materials, finishes, and sizes to add a polished floating effect to any ACM sign.
Which ACM product is right for me?
For full colour photography, gradients, or complex multi-colour designs — the custom full colour ACM sign is the right choice. For a refined, architectural finish using a single colour logo or text on a brushed aluminium background — the cut vinyl brushed ACM sign delivers a premium result that print cannot replicate. For a ready-to-go parking sign with no artwork required — choose Design 1. If you want to add your own logo to the parking sign design — choose Design 2. For a ready-to-go No Glass Permitted sign — the pre-set option ships within 5–7 business days with no artwork needed. To finish any ACM sign with a polished floating effect — add standoff panel mounts in your choice of material and finish.
What is an ACM panel?
ACM stands for Aluminium Composite Material. Each panel is a three-layer sandwich of two pre-painted aluminium sheets bonded to a polyethylene core — rigid and durable while remaining significantly lighter than solid metal, making it easy to handle and install.
How are ACM signs installed?
ACM panels can be installed using adhesive or by drilling directly through the panel into the wall or surface behind. For a polished, professional floating finish, standoff panel mounts are available separately in this range in a choice of aluminium, brass, or stainless steel finishes.
Are ACM signs suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — ACM panels are weather-resistant and built for long-term outdoor installation in Australian conditions. Full colour signs are finished with a UV over-laminate for additional waterproof and UV protection. Cut vinyl signs use pre-coloured vinyl that offers excellent fade resistance for outdoor applications.
Are there any building regulation considerations for installing ACM signs?
There have been recent changes to the National Construction Code regarding the installation of flammable materials on the walls of buildings. Stickerman Australia Pty Ltd cannot provide advice on the suitability of our signage where building regulations need to be met. We encourage you to seek independent legal advice before installing any materials on a wall or building.
How long do ACM signs take to produce?
All printed ACM products in this range are produced within 5–7 business days from artwork upload or approval. Pre-set signs with no artwork requirement are produced within 5–7 business days from order placement. Standoff panel mounts are a hardware product and are dispatched promptly via Australia Post. Shipping method for ACM signs depends on order size — smaller orders are sent via Australia Post and larger orders via local couriers.
