How do I set up my design?
On the product page, select either "I have artwork" or "Design it for me" from the artwork options before adding to cart.

What is the "I have artwork" option?
If you have your own artwork ready, select "I have artwork" — you'll be taken directly to our free online Custom Shape Sticker Designer where you can upload your file, preview your sticker at exact dimensions, and prepare it for production. No proof is required as what you see in the designer is exactly what will be produced.

What artwork files can I upload into the designer?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are best for the sharpest results. High-resolution PNG or JPG files also work well, provided they're clear and at least 300 DPI at the final print size.

What is the "Design it for me" option?
If you don't have artwork, select "Design it for me" a design service will be added to your cart. Simply describe your sticker in the brief field provided, including any text, colours, and logo or layout details. If you have files to share such as a logo, email them to shop@stickerman.com.au after ordering with your order number in the subject line.

What does the Design it for me service include?
The design service includes a basic layout using your supplied text or logo, simple lettering or standard sticker layouts, two design proofs for amendments and approvals, and a print-ready file delivered within 48 hours. It does not include logo design or illustration, complex graphics or branding work, or multiple design concepts. More complex artwork will be custom quoted before work begins.

Do I need to supply cut lines?
No — we'll create cut lines for you at no charge based on the outline of your design.

What if my file isn't suitable for cutting?
If your uploaded file isn't suitable for cutting, we'll contact you directly. If you're unable to adjust the file yourself, we can provide a custom quote to prepare a cut-ready file for you.

What if my logo or image isn't high enough quality?
We'll assess your file and let you know if the quality is suitable for printing. If your artwork is too low resolution, we'll advise you before proceeding

Are there minimum size requirements for full colour die-cut stickers?
Yes — due to the nature of the cutting process, there are minimum size and detail requirements that must be followed for a successful result.

All lines and strokes must be at least 4mm thick.

All lettering must be a minimum of 25mm in height. For all-caps bold sans-serif fonts only, a minimum of 15mm in height may be achievable — please email your file directly for a test cut and custom quote before ordering.

For lettering smaller than 25mm in complex or decorative fonts, please contact us before ordering as additional charges may apply.

What is the difference between 2-year vinyl and laminated 5-year vinyl?
Our 2-year vinyl is printed directly onto the material without a protective layer. It's ideal for indoor use, short-term promotions, packaging, or applications where long outdoor life isn't required. It will fade faster over time as the ink has no protective barrier against UV exposure. Our laminated 5-year vinyl includes an additional overlaminate layer applied over the print, giving you significantly better protection against UV fading, scratches, scuffs, chemicals, and general wear. It's the recommended choice for outdoor use, vehicles, equipment, drink bottles, or anywhere durability really matters. If you're unsure which to choose, laminated is always the safer long-term option.

What is the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut stickers?
Die-cut stickers are cut right to the edge of your design — the backing material is removed entirely, leaving just your sticker in its exact shape. These are great for a clean, finished look and are the most popular choice for single stickers. Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the vinyl only, leaving the backing sheet intact with a border around the design. This makes them easier to peel and handle, which is particularly useful for stickers with fine details or small elements. Kiss-cut is also a great option if you're handing stickers out as they're easier for recipients to apply.

What surfaces can these stickers adhere to?
Our custom shape stickers adhere well to most smooth, clean surfaces including glass, metal, plastic, wood, and painted surfaces. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or oils before application.

Are these stickers removable?
While our stickers feature strong permanent adhesive designed for long-lasting application, they can be removed. However, depending on the surface and how long they've been applied, some adhesive residue may remain. They're not designed for repositioning once applied.

Will the colors fade over time?
All stickers will fade over time depending on UV exposure. Our stickers are printed with genuine Roland eco-sol inks that are UV stable and fade-resistant. The 2-year vinyl has a life expectancy of approximately 2 years and will fade faster as the ink is not protected by lamination. The laminated 5-year vinyl offers significantly greater color protection due to its UV-overlaminate layer, making it the best choice if long-term color vibrancy is essential for your application.

Can these stickers withstand exposure to oils and chemicals?
Yes, our stickers are oil-resistant, and the laminated 5-year vinyl provides enhanced protection against cleaning chemicals and essential oils. If your stickers will be regularly exposed to harsh chemicals, we strongly recommend choosing the laminated option.

What's the minimum or maximum size I can order?
The minimum order size for custom shape stickers is 60x60mm. If you need stickers smaller than this, please use our 'Sheet Stickers' product or if you need them to be smaller and cut as singles contact us for a custom quote.

How do I care for items with these stickers on them?
Our stickers are dishwasher safe and can handle regular cleaning. For hand-washing, simply clean as you normally would. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers directly on the sticker surface to maintain the best appearance over time.

How long does it take to produce my custom shape stickers?
Our general turnaround time is 2-4 days from order confirmation. The 2-year vinyl custom shape stickers are typically ready within 3 days, while laminated stickers take 3-5 days due to the additional lamination process.

When will my order be shipped?
We ship every Tuesday and Thursday when our local postie collects from us. Your order will be dispatched on the next available collection day after production is complete.

Can you rush my order if it's urgent?
Yes! We can produce stickers faster than our standard turnaround time if you have urgent requirements. Please contact us directly to discuss your timeline and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Who do you use for shipping?
We use Australia Post for all our custom sticker deliveries, ensuring reliable and trackable shipping across Australia.

How long will delivery take once my order ships?
Delivery times depend on your location and the Australia Post service used. Standard Australia Post delivery typically takes 2-6 business days for metro areas and 3-10 business days for regional areas. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes, express shipping options are available through Australia Post. If you need your stickers urgently, contact us directly and we can arrange both expedited production and express shipping to meet your deadline.

Will I be notified when my order ships?
Yes, you'll receive shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order is collected by Australia Post on our scheduled Tuesday or Thursday pickup.

If I order multiple different products will my entire order arrive together?
If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
