FAQs
Design & Artwork
Three options are available when ordering site entry signs:
• Design Option 1 — a pre-set layout including standard WHS site safety information. Supply your logo and details and we'll place them into the layout for you.
• Design Option 2 — an alternative pre-set layout also including standard WHS site safety information. Supply your logo and details and we'll place them into the layout for you.
• Upload Your Own Design — supply your own fully custom artwork and we'll produce it as supplied.
What files do I need to supply for a pre-set design option?
For Design Option 1 or 2, please supply your logo and any details you'd like included — such as your business name, contact number, or other relevant information. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are best for logos. High-resolution PNG or JPG files at a minimum of 300 DPI are also accepted. We'll place your supplied files into the chosen layout and send you a proof for approval before production begins.
What files do I need to supply for a custom design?
For custom designs, PDF files only are accepted. Please follow these requirements:
• PDF format only — no other file types accepted
• Correctly sized to your chosen finished dimensions
• 5mm bleed on all sides
• Printer trim marks must be included in the PDF
• All fonts must be converted to outlines
• All transparency effects flattened and all images embedded
• Files are printed in CMYK only — as per industry standard, colours may vary up to 5%
Can you fix or set up my artwork?
We offer a "Make My File Print Ready" service that includes resizing, adding bleed, and preparing your file for production — with no changes to your actual artwork. If your design needs modifications or corrections, please contact us for a custom quote.
Will I see a proof before printing?
Yes — a proof is provided for all design options. For pre-set layouts, we'll send you a digital proof once your logo and details have been placed so you can review the final layout before production begins. For custom designs, a proof will be provided based on your selection at checkout. No order will proceed to production until the proof is approved via return email.
What is a proof?
A proof is a digital preview of exactly how your sign will look when printed. It shows the final design, colours, sizing, and layout, allowing you to review and approve everything before production begins.
When will I receive my proof?
Your proof will be emailed within 24–48 hours of placing your order. Please check your junk mail folder in case it's filtered there. If you haven't received it within this timeframe, contact us directly. No work will move into production until the proof is approved via return email.
What if my logo isn't high enough quality?
We'll assess your file and let you know if the quality is suitable for printing. If your logo is too low resolution, we'll advise you and may be able to help recreate or source a better quality version for a small fee.
Sizes, Materials & Finishing
Builder signs are available in two sizes — 600 x 900mm and 900 x 1200mm.
What material are builder signs made from?
Builder signs are made from 5mm corrugated plastic (corflute) panel — the same sturdy, lightweight material used across our corflute sign range. It's rigid enough to hold its shape on site while being light enough to handle and reposition easily.
What printing method is used?
Signs are printed direct-to-face in full colour CMYK using premium UV stable inks, delivering vibrant, sharp colour and crisp detail directly onto the corflute surface.
Are builder signs suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — builder signs are water-resistant and UV stable, making them well suited to Australian construction site conditions including sun, wind, and rain.
Are these signs single or double sided?
Builder signs are single sided print only.
How do I install a builder sign?
Builder signs are lightweight and easy to handle. They can be mounted using cable ties, wire, or sign frames depending on your site requirements. Fixings and mounting hardware are not included.
Production Times & Shipping
Builder signs are produced and dispatched within 3 business days from proof approval.
Can you rush my order if it's urgent?
Yes! Please contact us directly to discuss your timeline and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Who do you use for shipping?
We use local couriers for all builder sign deliveries, ensuring reliable and trackable shipping across Australia.
How long will delivery take once my order ships?
Delivery times depend on your location and the courier service used. You'll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.
If I order multiple different products will my entire order arrive together?
If you order multiple different products, they may be dispatched separately as each item is completed. This means you might receive your order in multiple packages at different times. Each dispatch will be sent with tracking information so you can monitor all your deliveries.
