What are Transfer Stickers?
Transfer Stickers are vinyl lettering and graphics that are kiss-cut with the background completely removed. Transfer paper is applied over your design, allowing you to apply the entire design in one piece. Once applied, you remove the transfer paper, leaving only your lettering or graphics on the surface with no background material or visible sticker edges.
What's the difference between Pre-Coloured Vinyl and Full Colour Print?
Pre-Coloured Vinyl uses solid colour vinyl cut to your design shape — perfect for single-colour lettering, logos, or graphics. Choose from a wide range of vinyl colours. This option offers the longest lifespan and highest water resistance as there's no ink involved. Full Colour Print features your design printed in vibrant CMYK colours on white vinyl and laminated to protect it from the elements — ideal for multicolour designs, gradients, photos, or detailed graphics.
What file type do I need?
Transfer stickers require vector files only (AI, EPS, SVG). We need vector files to select the outlines of all elements and tell the cutting machine exactly where to cut. For best results, designs should work well without a background — think text, logos, or graphic elements rather than rectangular images.
How do transfer stickers work?
Your design is kiss-cut with all background material removed. Transfer paper (also called application tape) is then applied over the top, holding all parts of your design in position. You apply the entire design to your surface as one piece, then peel away the transfer paper, leaving only your lettering or graphics adhered to the surface.
What surfaces can transfer stickers adhere to?
Transfer stickers adhere well to most smooth, clean surfaces including windows, glass, metal, vehicles, plastics, and smooth wood. For best results, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or oils before application. Transfer stickers are not recommended for painted walls as the very strong adhesive may rip paint and/or plaster off when removed.
Are transfer stickers waterproof and weatherproof?
Yes — transfer stickers are waterproof and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Pre-Coloured Vinyl offers the longest lifespan and highest water resistance as there's no ink involved — just the vinyl itself. Can I apply transfer stickers myself?

Are transfer stickers removable?
Transfer stickers feature permanent adhesive designed for long-lasting application.
