Submitting Print Ready Files
Different products require different ways to correctly set up the file for printing. Details on how to set up each product correctly can be found in the 'PRINT READY FILES' tab within the product page.
(Navigate to the product you are looking to purchase, the tab is located to the right of the product description.)
PRINT READY SPECS - FOR ALL FILES
'Text Converted To Outline' This changes your text into artwork (shapes) and removes all font information from the file. This means the text is no longer editable, but it also means we avoid font errors and can print your text exactly as intended.
'CMYK Colours Only' Our printers use CMYK ink only, we can print files that contain RGB or Pantone colours but the printer will automatically convert all colours to CMYK during the rip process. Supplying the file in CMYK avoids any unexpected colour changes.
PRINT READY SPECS - THAT VARY WITH DIFFERENT PRODUCTS
'Bleed requirements' 'Bleed' is additional printing of your background to ensure your colour goes from edge to edge when trimmed. Each product has its bleed requirement size noted within the 'Print Ready Files' Tab.
'Printer Trim Marks' or 'crop marks' are lines printed in the corners of your job to show the machines where to trim the finished size. Printer Trim Marks are added when saving the file as a PDF, therefore products that require Printer Trim Marks will only allow you to upload a PDF file. Some products (such as stickers) do not require Printer Trim Marks and are set up for cutting using die-lines.
FILES SUBMITTED INCORRECTLY
